The Opportunity
The Manager, Digital Learning leads and manages the Feeding America learning deployment strategy across all teams and deploys learning experiences to network members in a coordinated, organized, and spaced approach that allows for absorption and application. This is a hybrid position based out of our Chicago office with the expectation that this person will be on-site 2 days/week in addition to any mandatory trainings or meetings as required by their department, supervisor, and/or the organization.
Salary Range: $82,000-87,000 Based on Experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage the LMS including the overall UX, content hierarchy, assets, features, and functionality.
- Identify the need for new features and inform the design of the LMS’s user interface.
- Ensure offerings embrace inclusivity and accessibility as a core tenet.
- Manage, improve and document LMS standard operating procedures and help guides.
- Design and execute the curation plan and archive content in partnership with FANO teams based on user data.
- Keep the LMS operating effectively by performing necessary security upgrades and maintenance and troubleshooting user requests and needs quickly and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with Feeding America National Organization (FANO) teams to publish new content (resources, training, communities, etc.) and conduct quality assurance checks.
- Manage roster, run user reports, assign user groups, and build and push surveys.
- Lead the development of and manage an organization-wide calendar of live and virtual trainings, with the goal of reducing redundancy of content and topics across teams.
- Design and ensure a consistent, seamless planning, registration, implementation and evaluation experience for Feeding America and network staff according to standard webinar best practices.
- Produce all webinars: set up registration pages, virtual rooms, attendee view/layout, slides and resources, closed captioning, and polls, and manage technical issues during the live event.
- Evaluate offerings and the need for future similar offerings by analyzing attendance, registration, on-demand completions, surveys, learning assessments, etc.
- Lead webinar planning meetings and runs of show with FANO staff to understand overall flow of presentation and ensure virtual learning best practices are implemented.
- Manage pre-recording and editing of sessions for semi-live playback.
- Manage recordings of convenings for digital production and deploy via the LMS.
- Manage, improve, and document webinar standard operating procedures and document technical issues and resolutions.

Required Technical Competencies and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in learning technology, web design, virtual event production, platform development, knowledge management, instructional design, or similar field.
- Ability to track and handle multiple requests in an organized way.

- Effective project management skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Experience with Moodle, event/registration site development, HTML, and/or experience as a webinar technical director preferred.
