Moodle Users Association (MUA) – the community arm of Moodle LMS is going to be replaced with the Public Advisory Group (PAG) in upcoming months. However, till the time it is running its project development cycles as usual. In the current Project development cycle July-December 2023, the preliminary round of voting is complete.
There were total 6 projects proposed during the current Project development cycle. Out of the total 6 projects, “Allow session stores to fully manage the session” won the preliminary round of voting. The top voted projects are as follows:
- Allow session stores to fully manage the session ==> never touch mdl_sessions table! – 47073
- Show information for teachers about submissions on the course main page in the Boost theme – 27229
- MUA: Moodle Report Builder – Add Customizable SQL Functionality – 13186
- Allow Activity Completion Settings for Topics/Weeks – 5728
- Moodle Wiki export and import – 4581
- Improve availability of activities and resources overview pages in Boost theme – 4504
While the preliminary round of voting is completed, the projects will undergo the requirements finalization and cost estimates from Moodle HQ. Based on that the Moodle Users Association committee will organize the final round of voting in early December.
