The WIDA Annual Conference is the premier event for educators of Pre-K through grade 12 multilingual learners, giving educators from around the globe the opportunity to share best practices and discover innovative classroom strategies. The in-person conference will take place October 17-20, 2023, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Edtech conference will also host a virtual track on October 18 that includes a sampling of sessions from the in-person conference.
The WIDA Annual Conference 2023 will have a session for everyone which includes:
- Concurrent sessions – examine research-based strategies, practices, or topics that align to the conference theme and one of the topic strands.
- Workshops – are extended hands-on sessions that allow for in-depth exploration of a topic or practice. Participants will leave with tools or resources to use in their contexts.
- Session Tracks – offer topics like family engagement and bi/multilingual education so attendees can tailor their learning.
WIDA Annual Conference sessions will take place at The Wisconsin Center located at 400 W Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53203.
