    The Instructional Technologist/LMS Administrator is the primary system administrator for the Workday Learning Management System (LMS) and oversees all tools and software integrated with the LMS. The LMS Administrator manages the current environment (troubleshooting, reporting, and client consultation requests) and learns, understands, and makes recommendations about new system functions and capabilities.

    This role also provides high-quality support for multiple learning and development stakeholders who are using or implementing instructional technology for online, hybrid, and blended learning environments.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Design, launch and maintain assignment campaigns for multiple colleague audiences with varied training needs.
    • Maintain LMS data integrity for compliance reporting and audit purposes.
    • Work with Instructional Design team to create new courses, programs etc.
    • Provides guidance for lines of business on how to leverage the system and support business requirements around training plan administration.
    • Collaborate with internal HCM team & external partners/providers as needed to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions to system issues, user errors, learning content issues, and overall system functionality.
    • Design custom reports and maintain learning dashboards. Deploy processes and report on the data/outcome of those processes when needed.
    • Creates training materials to accommodate self-learners and providing tips to use when utilizing technology.
    • Monitors ticketing request system for L&D related inquiries from our colleagues and fields all inquiries that are submitted within the 48 hour SLA
    • Manages vendor licenses (renewals/ seats etc)
    • Researches and evaluates relevant software and technologies that have potential value for teaching and learning.
    • Supports larger L&D webinars with proper set-up of on-line tech set-up and production support.
    • Utilizes Microsoft Forms to conduct L&D related surveys.
    • Manage Reporting and Programming for specialized initiatives (High Potential program, Leadership programs, Sales program, Azimuth Institute)
    • Opportunity to learn/practice Instructional Design & eLearning Development work in support of ID team (if desired)
    • Quality Assurance checks of SCORM packages
    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    • 3-5 years’ experience with LMS administration required.
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a corporate training function required.
    • 1-3 years of Workday system back-end administration preferred
    • Workday Learning Pro certification preferred.
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Functional and technical knowledge of Workday Learning module.
    • General understanding of LMS business processes.
    • Knowledge of Instructional Design and generally accepted learning principles.
    • Functional knowledge of Elearning authoring software- for Quality assurance testing & troubleshooting (Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Vyond)
    • Aptitude & Interest in learning new technology.
    • Display professional integrity and confidentiality.
    • Excellent communication and presentations skills.
    TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, SYSTEM SKILLS:
    • LMS System admin experience: Workday Learning & Canvas preferred
    • Proficiency with Workday custom report creation, including calculated fields
    • Freshdesk (or a ticketing system) experience
