As a member of a dynamic global L&D team, the Specialist, Learning & Development will play an important role in the strategic alignment, management, and execution of various global learning & development initiatives. This role will consult to various stakeholders throughout the organization and support the coordination, delivery, and facilitation of learning events led by the Global L&D COE. To be successful in this role, the selected candidate will utilize skill strengths such as curiosity, collaboration, hospitality focus, and impact. The Specialist, Learning & Development should also have strong communication and prioritization skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
This role will report to the Director, Global Learning & Development and is based out of Aramark?s Headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A hybrid work schedule is in place and would require a minimum of 2-3 days in the office.
This role may require up to 10% travel.
What you will do:
? Collaborate and consult to an assigned group of stakeholders as a representative of Global L&D
? Support the development of engaging learning solutions (i.e., eLearning, Virtual ILT, ILT, etc.)
? Facilitate and deliver learning events
? Manage multiple projects and deliverables of the Global L&D team on time and within budget
? Manage reporting related to data used to influence decision making within the team and by our stakeholders
? Contribute to the development of content, learning plans, and curricula
? Contribute to curation of learning, leveraging existing resources
? Coordinate both classroom and virtual learning events that may include vendor management, managing enrollment, and preparing and tearing down training space
? Support the development and enablement of individuals responsible for learning facilitation and administration in the field
? Drive a culture of learning, innovation, and growth
? Partner with our Learning Enablement (Technology) team to ensure ongoing functionality and to address LMS-related training concerns that arise on an ongoing basis
? Work with 3rd party learning partners, as needed, to develop and deliver learning programs
? Establish and sustain high quality partnerships with external vendors
? Stay abreast of learning and leadership best practices and innovative techniques
What we’re looking for:
? At least two years of experience in a training, human resources, project management, operations, or administrative support role;
? A Bachelor?s, Associate?s, or other post-secondary certification in Business, Human Resources, Education, Communications or other related field. (Equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.)
? Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities; ensuring deliverables are met on time, within budget, and of high quality
? Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
? Advanced proficiency and experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
? A high level of curiosity, creativity, discipline, and organization
? An understanding of adult learning principles
? A demonstrated ability to navigate in a complex, fast-paced, changing environment
? A drive and desire to achieve goals and grow within the organization
? The ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information
What makes you a standout candidate (Any of the following):
? Experience as a learning facilitator or coach
? Experience with learning technologies used for creating mixed media learning experiences (i.e., Articulate 360, Camtasia, etc.)
? APTD/CPTD, HRCI, or PMP Certification
? Experience or Background in a Communications role
