    Learning & Design Specialist

    (Reports to Manager of Sales Programs Learning & Development)

    Are you a natural storyteller who is passionate about writing, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and is looking to help create compelling sales enablement content? As part of the Sales Enablement Learning & Development team, the Learning and Design Specialist will focus on creating content for the development of training and resources for sales.

    The Learning and Design Specialist will develop courses and training materials in close coordination with the other Instructional Designers, the Enablement team, and other key stakeholders. The Learning & Design Specialist promotes training and other instructional initiatives by applying varied learning methodologies to classroom training, blended learning, job aids, experiential learning, and e-learning, all with a primary focus of developing sales skills, knowledge, and approach to improve the quality of customer interactions and outcomes.

    The Learning & Design Specialist is integral for contributing to the development and publication of timely and accurate content (quick reference guides, instructions, playbooks/manuals) and sales training (e-learning, role plays, win stories). This is an amazing opportunity for a person who is self-motivated and creative to design and optimize a forward-thinking program. This role is critical to our organization, driving the development of talent across our go to market teams. Here’s What You’ll Be Doing

    • Research, schedule, and write original content for a variety of sales audiences, including newsletters, videos, presentations, job aids, e-learning, and classroom training
    • Create and update existing content to apply multiple nuances of complex topics to different internal sales teams and customer segments, and ensure messaging is consistent across all groups.
    • Support the Instructional Designers with planning, writing, creating, and evaluating training materials (eLearning, audio, video, simulations, role plays, job aids, etc.)
    • Review training materials from designers to achieve engaging, consistent, and clear training content
    • Conduct needs analysis with learners and assists with the design of curricula and training materials to identified needs
    • Apply instructional design theories, practices and methodologies to instructional materials
    • Evaluate and assess training materials and its impact on the business
    • Other tasks as may be required to boost organization’s learning and development

    We’re Excited About You Because You Have

    • A passion for storytelling who appreciates positioning and can translate complex information into creative, engaging training, development skills and knowledge
    • Experience designing instructional material or other similar roles
    • 2+ years previous experience as a corporate training specialist, sales enablement, or related position.
    • Ability to work well with others – on own team and across departments
    • Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills
    • Positive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude that views challenges as opportunities
    • Give and receive constructive feedback to ensure projects are done correctly and on time
    • Thrive in an ever-changing/fast-paced environment
    • The ability to create positive learning environments, conveying objectives clearly, and evaluating learning outcomes
    • Knowledge of the latest best practices, corporate training techniques and theories for instructional design materials and teaching platforms
    • Drive to continue to improve one’s knowledge, skills and attitudes pertaining to instructional design and related fields
    • Experience with Articulate Storyline and Adobe software is preferred
    • Previous work with online training portals/systems, Learning Management System
    • Demonstrated computer proficiency; including Google Programs

    Reasonably expected salary range: $68,500.00 – $85,700.00
