WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Under general supervision, the Instructional Designer will plan, organize, and develop complex training, curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific customer needs, including the development and implementation of an onboarding program for Lennox Residential Supply Chain.
The Compensation range for this position is approximately $62,000 – $78,000 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzes learning needs and partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content.
- Plans and coordinates skills assessments and training.
- Works with management to ensure course materials are current and relevant.
- Works with local and field Distribution management to build and maintain Supply Chain Onboarding Program.
- May be required to facilitate training.
- Tracks and analyzes training programs by analyzing student’s proficiency and job performance.
- Provides instruction and guidance to trainers.
- Designs, develops, and maintains online, computer-based training programs.
- Manages course content, enrollments, and student records using internal LMS system.
- Builds, maintains, and leverages strong relationships with business decision makers and IT personnel.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $62,400 – $81,900 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
Qualifications:
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years plus of related experience preferred.
- Highly skilled in current eLearning development software such as Articulate Storyline 360, Rise 360, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.
- Experience with Onboarding programs
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and methodologies
- In-depth knowledge of instructional design processes and techniques
- Strong understanding of Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, and other Office 365 tools
- Working knowledge of LMS administration
- HVAC industry and/or supply chain background preferred but not required
- Classroom presentation skills preferred but not required
- Ability to travel as required by projects
- Willing to travel up to 25%
