Using evidence-based adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, design and build effective, performance-based learning experiences leveraging both synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities to support Truist teammates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Partner with learning teammates and line of business stakeholders to identify learning objectives based on performance goals and design comprehensive, blended learning experiences.
2. Act as a consultant for learning teammates and line of business stakeholders related to learning design expertise.
3. Use standard learning development tools to design and build learning assets for a variety of synchronous and asynchronous delivery modalities, including leader and participant materials, post-event support resources, job aids, etc.
4. Create storyboards for eLearning, write scripts for video-based solutions, and build effective assessments to support the evaluation of learning solutions.
5. Estimate timeline and manage tasks related to assigned deliverables using a project management application.
6. Using appropriate data collection methodologies, conduct learning needs analysis to optimize learning solutions.
7. Provide oversight and guidance to vendor-based resources to ensure compliance with standards and quality requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or certificate in adult learning, instructional design, or related field or equivalent education and related training
2. 6 or more years of learning and development experience with at least 3 specific to learning design
3. Expert knowledge of evidence-based adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
4. Demonstrated experience with data collection methodologies
5. Passion for learning and development with a desire to continue to develop L&D industry knowledge
6. Ability to manage multiple project deliverables and communicate status updates to stakeholders
7. High level of productivity and ability to independently manage tasks to meet deadlines
8. Ability to give and receive both positive and constructive feedback effectively to peers
9. Ability to adapt and respond positively in a dynamic and changing environment
10. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
11. Ability to write in a professional, conversational voice
12. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Software products
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree in adult learning, instructional design, or related field
2. 3 or more years of financial industry experience
3. Experience with eLearning development tools, such as domiKnow
4. Experience with SnagIt and Adobe tools
5. Experience in design, and development of multiple modalities to include: classroom, virtual classroom, e-learning and blending learning experiences
