    Baystate Health is seeking an energetic Senior Digital Learning Designer to join the Informatics & Technology (I&T) Digital Innovation Team. Our partners—patients, employees, and community—are at the center of everything we do at Baystate Health. The Senior Digital Learning Designer is passionate about ensuring our partners’ success in learning how to use digital products and technologies to improve their daily experiences.

    Reporting directly to the Manager of Digital Adoption & Customer Success on the Digital Innovation team, the incumbent will work with internal and external stakeholders to identify learning opportunities, then create scalable and measurable solutions that support technology learning and adoption for our partners.

    Job Requirements:

    1) Create engaging and outcomes-driven learning deliverables and experiences such as classes, videos, webinars, e-learning modules, job aids, guides, infographics, FAQs

    2) Deliver learning for synchronous virtual and in-person/classroom, including curriculum development and high-quality engaging instruction.

    3) Update and maintain training materials in response to changes in technology, policy, procedures, and/or results of needs analyses.

    4) Collaborate with subject matter experts and end-users within I&T and across the health system to identify learning needs and knowledge gaps and develop learning objectives.

    5) Evaluate training effectiveness, and monitor and measure learning outcomes and learner satisfaction.

    6) Provides learning assistance and support through timely problem resolution, escalation, and follow-up.

    7) Stays current with best practices and trends in training and education in both synchronous and asynchronous environments, particularly related to digital opportunities.

    8) Works closely with the Manager of Digital Adoption and Customer Success and Principal Learning Designer to ensure consistent, timely delivery of learning instruction and deliverable

    9) Mentors other team members

    Minimally Required Experience

    5-10 years

    Preferred Experience

    8 Years

    Skills/Competencies:

    Knowledge of learning science, instructional design principles, and assessment best practices, e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile, and Adult Learning Theory

    • Experience with various learning technologies including learning management systems, eLearning tools, mobile-enabled learning, a virtual training platform
    • Proven ability to understand new topics and convert them into learning objectives/plans
    • Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and an aptitude to learn business applications and processes
    • Experience with technology in a healthcare setting is a plus
    • A continuous improvement, data-driven mindset
