    Position: Learning Management System Administrator (Future)
    Work Location: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH
    Clearance Requirement: Tier 1 (NACI)
    Position Type / Standard Work Hours: Full-time / 40 hours / On-Site

    Summary / Objective:

    Responsible for providing technical support to faculty and staff at AFIT Civil Engineer School (AFIT/CE).
    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Provide technical support to faculty to convert curricula into the proper format for e-learning platforms that is conducive to quality education. Examples of e-learning platforms are Canvas and the Air Force Learning Services Ecosystem (AFLSE).
    • Provide technology expertise to faculty and staff related to posting, maintaining, linking, structuring, managing, and updating content on the applicable Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Ensure compliance with AFIT’s LMS template, if applicable.
    • Provide faculty with help and assistance in establishing and troubleshooting problems with student LMS accounts.
    • Interface and work with LMS support individuals within other schools and Air University.
    • Coordinate software updates and installation of all eLearning software on school computers and tablets, maintain software license listings, renewal schedules and costs, update the school software license database and prepare for internal audits.
    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

    Travel:

    Position may require occasional travel.

    Required Education and/or Experience:

    • Four years applied experience with Learning Management Systems; and a bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Educational Design, or related discipline.
    • Familiarity with software systems such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, iSpring, Captivate, Camtasia, Articulate, Lectora, JavaScript and HTML.

    Tier 1 (NACI)
