-

Moodle US has signed a partnership with Kaltura to improve video capabilities for teaching and learning. Kaltura is a leading provider of live and on-demand video SaaS solutions for teaching, learning, communicating, collaborating, and entertaining.

According to a recent press release from Moodle HQ, the Moodle US team which is a Moodle-owned entity, signed a partnership with Kaltura. With Kaltura users can view, record, upload, publish, search, and share videos directly within a Moodle environment.

Kaltura developed Kaltura’s Video Package Moodle plugin which makes it easy to add the robust capabilities of Kaltura’s open source online video platform to any Moodle site. The package was developed specifically for Moodle and integrates with other features and modules, such as resources and activities, so that users can
upload and embed media easily.

We are excited to be expanding our partnership with Moodle US, a key partner in the education technology space,” said Matthew Davis, at Kaltura. “Our Video Package provides Moodle users with innovative ways to enjoy the power of video in today’s evolving learning environment.”

“We’re really excited to deepen our partnership with Kaltura and provide our clients with a more seamless way of incorporating video into their courses and training programs,” says Jonathan Moore, Head of Moodle US. “Kaltura and Moodle share a common vision of open-source ethos that has enhanced our collaboration.”
