Moodle Plugins – Total 248 plugins received Early Bird Badge for Moodle 4.1

-

Moodle 4.1 – the latest Moodle version was released few weeks back. Moodle 4.1 is packed with a lot of exciting new features which includes database, gradebook, question bank, integration of TinyMCE editor and many more. While the latest LTS version is released with many new features, many Moodle plugin developers also updated their plugins to make it compatible with latest version to be eligible for Early Bird badge.

The Moodle Plugins Early Bird badge – which is awarded to the Moodle plugins which have a stable version compatible with the new Moodle version on the date of its release. For Moodle 4.1, the Badge is awarded to 248 plugins in total. (228 plugins already approved while others are in review)

The early bird badge is a good motivation for Moodle plugin developers to update their plugins as soon as possible. Which in turn is helpful for the users of the plugins as they can plan the upgrade to latest Moodle version easily without waiting for the plugins to be updated.

For Moodle 4.0, total 264 plugins have received the Early Bird badge.
