The Training Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of training strategies, plans and processes to support the organizations goals.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews existing training programs; suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of internal and external clients and the organization.
- Plan, develop, and provide training and development programs, using methods such as classroom training, eLearning, mobile learning, video, meetings and workshops.
- Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
- Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
- Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
- Create content through instructional design for training and development.
- Consult with management/clients and conduct surveys to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes and other factors.
- Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
- Measure the return on investment (ROI) of any training or development programs.
- Identify quality of workforce as requirements.
- Provides back-up support for Learning Management Systems.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong graphic design ability.
- Thorough understanding of training processes.
- Ability to moderate large groups.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficient with Rise360 and Articulate Storyline software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong familiarity with MS Teams meeting platform.
- Familiarity with learning management systems.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Learning, Human Resources, Communications or related area required.
- At least five years of experience in training and instructional design.
