In This Role:
- Responsible for the execution and oversight of learning design, development, curation, and implementation activities within talent management.
- Collaborates with the HR Business Partner on training needs and opportunities for the expansion of talent development within the organization.
- Provide guidance and support on strategic and operational execution including change management, organizational effectiveness, performance management, retention, engagement, talent planning, professional growth and more.
- Through data analytics, evaluate the impact of the talent & learning programs using key metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of programs and to analyze how program objectives, content, and talent solutions can be enhanced.
- Design, develop, curate, and facilitate multi-platform content to support targeted learning and change efforts using best practices in change management and communication (e.g., learning programs, manuals, program guides, tool kits, and reference aids).
- Utilize knowledge of LMS capabilities to recommend delivery strategies that yield a rich, meaningful, and dynamic end-user experience.
- Advise/ coach trainers and subject matter experts in creating learning designs and overseeing development and implementation in ways that deliver value with speed of market in mind.
- Partner closely with vendors in support of learning solutions design/development/ implementation.
- Lead and execute key strategic and operational solutions through project management and implementation activities (including but not isolated to LMS transformation, scheduling, course advertising, etc.)
- Leads strategy to keep learning solutions up to date and determine when to sunset or re-conceptualize existing learning experiences based on direction from the Customers and Business Unit Leaders
- Participate in special projects as needed.
What you’ll Need:
- Bachelor or Masters’ degree in Organization Development or equivalent degree, and prior experience in a life science / medical device organization preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in within the Human Resources function, with specific experience in developing talent programs and offerings.
- Project management experience, ideally including agile project management and a passion for innovative projects.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills, and you are confident in managing Senior Stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge about current developments in the Talent and L&D space, methods, and tools.
- Specific experience having worked outside of the HR function on business transformations or change projects strongly preferred.
- Ability to analyze data and create data visualization.
- Audio, video, and eLearning editing experience preferred.
- Ability to travel an estimated 10% to team meetings, clients, workshops, etc.
- Bringing innovative ideas and knowledge of current and emerging learning technology trends and experiences to your projects.
- Leveraging consulting skills to achieve results and deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Influencing both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership by providing value adding deliverables, customized service and great experiences built on personal relationships.
- Performing in a fast-paced, intellectually intense environment and managing tight timelines and deliverables across multiple projects and teams.
- Communicating and working in ways that build relationships with team members, SMEs, and other internal stakeholders.
- Linking instructional design, evaluation, assessment, and technologies when recommending solutions.
- Being dynamic, reliable, collaborative, and motivated and keeping your composure in difficult situations.
- Understanding of the adult learning theories and how to apply them to learning design, development, facilitation, and learning measurement.
- Demonstrating the ability to break seemingly complex problems into simple and smaller pieces.
