  • Design and develop content for eLearning and/or instructor-led courses
  • Develop dialogue scripts, apply graphic design skills, program user interactions, and record software simulations, demonstrations and/or voiceovers
  • Design and develop additional training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, participant and facilitator guides, and job aids
  • Support the development of a strategic Learning and Education plan for Clinical Development
  • Support new hire orientation, onboarding and knowledge/skill-based practicum training
  • Partner with Clinical Development lead to define training needs and determine knowledge gaps
  • Incorporate motivating, creative, and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience, in an effort to maximize learning and retention
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create and edit training
  • Review and edit existing eLearning solutions to keep them current and relevant
  • Develop assessments of the effectiveness of the learning materials
  • Plan and organize large scale training initiatives
Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
  • Advanced proficiency with eLearning tools (Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia or other rapid development software)
  • Advanced proficiency and proven experience in eLearning design and development
  • Advanced proficiency in visual design and usability for eLearning and other types of digital learning
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to express complex technical information in a clear and precise manner
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems administration knowledge
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adopt and learn new technologies
  • Familiarity with instructional design theories and methodologies
Preferred skills:
  • Experience developing compliance trainings
  • Understanding of learning principles and application in a technical environment
  • Understanding of GCP guidelines
  • Experience in measuring and tracking the effectiveness and impact of learning solutions
  • Experience within a pharmaceutical/biotechnology organization
Education:
  • 5+ years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience and a master’s degree in instructional design, education, communications, or a related field
