    Job Description
    We are looking for a Senior Learning Experience Designers to the GTM Learning Experience and Curriculum Design team within our greater Revenue Enablement and Velocity team at Zscaler. This is a fast growing organization within a fast growing company that provides education and enablement to our sales team, customer success team, partners, and customers.

    This is a highly consultative and collaborative role in which the Learning Experience Designer will consult with key stakeholders across the organization to identify GTM education needs and develop engaging content that inspires learners to change their behavior and ultimately meet their business goals with Zscaler.

     

    This individual will become a master of their audience; their goals, and their learning styles. Their content will tell a story with the learner as the central hero or heroine. By working both independently and as part of a team, the Senior Learning Experience Designer must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines while consistently delivering high quality work.

    Duties

    • Develop engaging and effective learning journeys for assigned Zscaler GTM personas (sales, professional services, customer success engineers, sales engineers, GTM leaders, partners, and/or customers)
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, designers, and subject matter authorities, ensuring alignment and agreement on all efforts
    • Lead the learning experience design process including; discovery, planning, development, evaluation, and iterative improvement
      • Interview stakeholders and end-users to understand learning goals
      • Research and review existing content and perform a gap analysis
      • Build detailed skills profiles and learning objectives based on stakeholder needs
      • Produce course outlines to seek feedback early and often
      • Develop engaging, modular, and interactive learning content and work with learning design partner, as needed, to accelerate development
      • Work with subject matter experts to review and revise training content
      • Uphold defined learning design standards
      • evaluation models to provide a consistent learning experience and accurately measure our impact.” or something specifically about measurement
    • Project manage learning development projects
      • Communicate status effectively to leadership and stakeholders
      • Hold development team members and stakeholders accountable for deliverables
      • Manage and communicate risks
      • Adjust scope or velocity to meet tight deadlines
      • Create agile solutions that can be easily adjusted as the company evolves
    • Develop written and practical (real-life experience) certification exams
    • Support the configuration and administration of e-learning modules in the learning management system and content management system
    • Coach newer team members and other members of the GTM organization on learning experience design best practices
    • Other duties, as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years experience in learning experience design
    • 1-2 years additional experience developing learning content in a B2B SaaS ideal
    • Ability to summarize and communicate complex ideas and clearly articulate business value with a good sense of how adult learners think, operate, and absorb information
    • Ability to tell a story that conveys the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’
    • Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
    • Ability to independently design and develop training in a variety of modalities, i.e. eLearning, instructor-led, blended, self-paced, etc.
    • Knowledge of basic sales methodology
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
    • Proficiency with Articulate 360
    • Proficiency with Camtasia
    • A passion for learning and continuous self-improvement
    • A passion for teaching and helping others achieve their goals

    Additional Information
    The base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 to $110,000 + equity + benefits.

    Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
