Instructional Designer – 100% Virtual job

We are excited to present an exclusive opportunity for an Instructional Designer to collaborate with our manufacturing client during a period of dynamic growth. This project offers you a chance to make a lasting impact by shaping custom content and crafting learning programs that address diverse training needs.

Role Overview:

• Needs Assessment Champion: As an integral part of the team, you will lead the creation of a comprehensive needs assessment, pinpointing crucial gaps and opportunities within the existing learning framework.
• Content Conductor: Collaborating closely with subject matter experts, you will orchestrate the organization of current content while generating fresh, engaging materials to enrich the learning experience across safety, sales, and supply chain domains.
• Diverse Learning Landscape: Your creative touch will span various modalities, predominantly favoring eLearning. Flexibility in design will ensure an optimal learning journey for every participant.

Start Date: Late August
Contract Duration: 3 months with the possibility to extend
Hours: 40 hours per week; available to work 8am – 5pm ET
Location: Virtual, but ideally located on the East Coast to work with European partners

Experience Required:

• Solid background in instructional design, with a specific focus on safety and manufacturing training
• Proficient in creating needs assessments and developing content
• Experience with Articulate 360, both Rise and Storyline
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with Workday Learning is preferred but not required
• Previous experience developing sales training is preferred but not required
• Must be able to share work samples during an interview
• A background check may be required for the selected candidate

The pay range for this is $50.00 to $60.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
