Job Summary
Learning Technology Developer is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of learning and development distance learning solutions and translate business process/concepts into digital learning materials that support various industry standard formats. This individual is a member of a cross functional team, which includes communication and education professionals, business owners and clients, project management, IT&S, and others as needed. The individual will work closely with these groups to develop eLearning course content for both live and self-led delivery over the web, and define, implement, and support best practice distance learning models across the enterprise. As a strategic department representative, this person demonstrates solid time management skills and behaviors in addition to continually striving to exceed customer expectations.
Duties (included but not limited to):
- Aligns business strategy and goals to deliver high-quality, integrated learning solutions which compliment training strategy and materials.
- Produces graphical sketches, designs, and copy layouts for online education and communication content.
- Creates eLearning educational materials following the ADDIE model for content development. This includes planning, research, writing, editing, storyboarding, development, and distribution of various media, including web-based training modules, scripting, and video content.
- Incorporates simulation, role-based scenarios, and competency evaluations into eLearning deliverables.
- Works with Project Management, Education Team, Business Owners and clients, Technology Teams, and others as necessary to analyze, design, and develop first-class learning content based on instructional and graphic design as well as adult learning principles.
- Applies department and team development toolkit, methodologies, and standards to maintain consistency within the execution of all synchronous and asynchronous distance learning strategies across the organization.

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Equivalent work experience may substitute degree requirement
- 2-3 years in adult learning principles
- 3-5 years of distance learning development experience
- Strong Learning Technology solutions background required
- Experience utilizing distance learning tools (e.g., Captivate, Articulate, Dreamweaver, Adobe Design Suite, and Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator)
- Familiarity with industry standards and technologies including SCORM, AICC, HTML 5
- Mobile learning platform (iOS, Android, etc) technology experience would be a plus
- Healthcare background preferred
