Parsons’ Talent and Organizational Development Team is looking for a passionate Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator. The LMS Admin will work collaboratively with the Director of Organization and Talent Development, Instructional Designer(s), and Human Resources IT to manage all aspects of deployment, testing, and assignment of eLearning content. They will have the ability to curate content and build learning paths to accomplish business objectives.
The Learning Management System Administrator is responsible for the support and management of the Parsons Workday Learning component. They will support the Workday vendor relationship as well as training content providers (LinkedIn, and others). The LMS Admin will establish and maintain standards regarding system governance and usage, documenting these practices and policies around content maintenance, campaigns, etc. They will also provide metrics on system usage, reports on learning completion, and respond to employees’ questions. The ideal candidate will have experience administering the learning function in the Workday Human Capital Management system. Other successful candidates may be skilled LMS administrators with experience on other systems or experienced generalist Workday admins with a passion/interest in learning and development.
We are open to a candidate working remote from another state or the position could be based in our Manassas, Virginia office.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support a global audience of approximately 17,000 users.
- Recommend learning programs based on knowledge of content library and system capabilities.
- Support learning campaigns (programs) by assigning and tracking progress with audiences within the organization.
- Coordinate with other departments and staff members to assign and deliver compliance and other training.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical LMS issues with Workday and content issues with LinkedIn Learning and other content providers. Create Jira tickets and work with internal HRIT staff and vendors to diagnose, troubleshoot, and test system issues.
- Monitor student progress to ensure that they are meeting course requirements.
- Support internal users with a response time of one to two business days.
- Collaborate to resolve content issues.
- Maintain accurate records of learning programs.
- Identify documentation needs including internal administrative guides and employee-facing job aids and knowledge articles. Develop and publish documents.
Other Responsibilities:
- Work with vendors and service integrators to address and resolve LMS issues.
- Utilize excellent judgment and communication with others when working with sensitive data.
- Perform work of a very detailed nature requiring a high degree of responsiveness, accuracy, and consistency.
- Organize and manage several tasks or projects with concurrent, time-sensitive deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Support the talent and performance management administrative functions within Workday.
What Skills You’ll Bring:
- 5 + years of related work experience as an LMS Administrator, preferably in the Workday Human Capital Management system or as a Workday administrator with expertise in other functional areas
- Experience with the talent and performance modules of Workday is a plus

Salary Range:
$68,400.00 – $119,700.00
