    We are seeking a Learning Management System (LMS) Coordinator for the Rudolph Libbe Group in Walbridge, OH. This position is responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective management of the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). Your primary role will involve ensuring that the LMS is running smoothly, partnering with organization leaders to procure and develop training, and optimizing the platform for seamless learning experiences.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    LMS Management:

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the LMS, including user account setup, course creation, and content management, keeping the system and its content up to date
    • Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to upload, organize, and maintain course materials within the LMS
    • Regularly update and troubleshoot issues related to the LMS, ensuring its functionality and reliability
    • Stay updated on the latest LMS developments and trends, proposing upgrades or new functionalities that align with the organization’s learning goals

    Content Procurement and Development:

    • Engage with RLG stakeholders to understand the learning goals and needs of the organization
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts, trainers, and content creators to ensure all content aligns with the organization’s learning objectives and quality standards
    • Utilize authoring tools and collaborate with content developers to create original e-learning content tailored to the organization’s needs including multimedia assets, presentations, quizzes, and interactive modules
    • Research, evaluate, and procure third-party educational content, such as courses, modules, videos, and assessments, to supplement internal offerings

    Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Track and analyze LMS usage data, generating reports on learner progress, course completion rates, and other relevant metrics
    • Utilize insights from data analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend enhancements to optimize the learning experience

    Security and Technical Support:

    • Ensure the security and confidentiality of sensitive data within the LMS through regular maintenance and adherence to data protection protocols
    • Provide technical assistance and user support to instructors, learners, and other stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
    • Conduct training sessions and create documentation to educate users on LMS features, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques
    • Collaborate with the IT team to integrate the LMS with other systems and tools used within the organization

     

    SKILLS

    • Demonstrated expertise in managing a Learning Management System (Docebo, preferred), including user administration, course creation, and troubleshooting technical issues
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build relationships and interact with users at all levels and convey technical information in a clear and accessible manner
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address LMS-related challenges
    • Ability to conduct training sessions and create user documentation to educate and support LMS users
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from LMS data
    • Understanding of data security principles and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information
    • Effective planning, time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
    • Flexibility to work on various projects and manage priorities in a fast-changing environment

     

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, computer science, or related field
    • 3-5 years full time work experience in an educational setting that includes a combination of technical support, LMS experience, technology training creation and facilitation, and/or creating accessible content
    • Experience with eLearning software integration with an LMS (SCORM/AICC, xAPI)
    • Knowledge of e-learning principles, instructional design concepts, and adult learning methodologies is a plus
    • Experience in data analysis and reporting within an LMS context is advantageous
    • Relevant certifications in LMS administration and related areas are desirable
