    The Enterprise Learning Management Administrator (ELMA) administers and maintains the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS) to meet all regulatory compliance needs, ensure data accuracy and integrity and supports the education, training, and competency record needs of the Enterprise. The ELMA is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Enterprise LMS. This includes configuring settings, adding and updating content, and ensuring the system is functioning properly.

    The ELMA provides highquality support and guidance to the LMS Administrators throughout the Enterprise. This role manages complex requests to be executed in the Learning Management System. The ELMA will work closely with the Enterprise Director of Workforce development and other key stakeholders to ensure the LMS supports the company’s learning and development goals.

    This position is considered Hybrid, which means that individuals in this position may work both at an approved Offsite location and Onsite at a primary location or multiple locations based on Business Needs.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties (at least 5 that are non-negotiable duties and are absolutely pertinent to successfully completing the job without accommodations):
    • Manage and maintain the Enterprise LMS, including configuring settings, adding and updating content, and ensuring the system is functioning properly.
    • Maintain liaison with the LMS supplier for product issue escalation, product enhancement requests, and product news such as upcoming release features and schedule.
    • Lead the development and administration of the learning management system (LMS) to ensure orientation, education, and competency records are complete and accurate across the Enterprise.
    • Maintain data integrity rules and processes for the LMS, such as course descriptions, course or class changes, and instructors across the Enterprise.
    • Develop and maintain the associated templates and learning pathways within the system to ensure orientation, education, and competency records are complete and accurate across the Enterprise.
    • Investigate and resolve any data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies across the Enterprise.
    • Lead the establishment, documentation and enforcement of registration, scheduling, and cancellation policies and procedures across the Enterprise.
    • Audit compliance and certification requirements across the Enterprise
    • Generate, analyze, and distribute data reports.
    • Analyze, identify, and communicate LMS system and business requirements to vendor.
    • Stay current with the latest LMS trends and technologies and make recommendations for LMS upgrades and improvements.
    • Create and maintain LMS user accounts and permissions and monitor LMS usage and analytics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Enroll and/or assign team members in the appropriate courses in the LMS.
    • Provide technical support to users, troubleshooting issues, working with IT to integrate the LMS with other systems.
    • Manage all aspects of the LMS system which includes, but is not limited to, importing course content, course approvals, posttests, and the evaluation process to ensure tasks are completed within given timeframes.
    • Develop interactive, online training modules in collaboration with content experts.
    • Create and update training requirements in the LMS.
    • Accurately track new, deleted, and revised items in the learning management system including assessments.
    • Process course updates and monitors user access for monthly usage reporting.
    • Maintain all LMS instructor course materials and provides support related to document control system requirements.
    • Provide training and technical support to users, supervisors, and others who interact with the learning management system.
    • Work with educators and instructional designer to ensure proper setup and system support for complex learning activities
    within the LMS.
    • Participate in department meetings and continuing education opportunities.
    • Perform all duties in an ethical manner consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
    • Demonstrate a willingness to be an active participant in initiatives that have fundamental impact on the organization.
    • Perform any other duties as needed to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of the organization.

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    • Thorough knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Windows based PC system, a range of software packages, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
    • Knowledge of online learning and web-based applications including Camtasia and Articulate 360.
    • Knowledge and skill in current office procedures and practices, including operating general office equipment (computer, fax machine, scanner, etc.).
    • Knowledge of principles and practices of staff orientation and continuing education.
    • Knowledge of and proficiency in research, analysis and reporting methods.
    • Skilled in problem solving and decision making.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
    • Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized.
    • Strong editorial skills, including scheduling and tracking deliverables.

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

    PREFERRED EDUCATION: N/A

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: At least 3 years of experience managing learning management platforms, HTML, SCORM, CSS, Javascript and strong working knowledge of e-learning development applications.

    PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years’ experience with online learning management systems, learning development or instructional design, within the healthcare industry. Successful record of building effective learning experiences in the form of self-paced eLearning curriculums, assessments, infographics and other materials.
