Job Overview
This individual will design and develop online content with a focus on innovative, fresh, and engaging user experiences while supporting hospital-required education requirements. Works with customers and trainers to identify training needs and translate identified needs into curriculum design. This position may perform lead work over lower level staff.

Qualifications
- EDUCATION – Bachelor’s degree is required.
- EXPERIENCE – Minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required.
- EQUIVALENCY – Combination of post-high school education, job related certification, and/or related experience equivalent to nine (9) years may be considered in lieu of minimum requirements.
The ideal candidate has:
- Proven experience building engaging online and experiential learning
- Understanding of advanced design/development techniques and tools of adult learning theory
- Strong background with conceptualization, design, and production online training (includes video, graphics, animation, photography, and other tools)
- Self-directed interest in emerging technologies and new ideas in instructional design
- Ability to shift between working autonomously with limited supervision or direction, and collaborating/partnering with other team members
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management experience
- Ability to meet deadlines for course publication
- Video production and Articulate experience a plus

- Exploring and piloting training approaches which provide responsive, relevant, and effective user experiences
- Enhancing learner experiences though tools, design, video, graphics, and interactions
- Working with subject matter experts to define objectives and refine course content
- Gathering material to create online content based on information from existing sources, regulatory requirements, organization-identified needs, subject matter experts, previous training courses, etc.
- Compose/edit written content to ensure clarity and consistency throughout deliverables
- Assessing learner comprehension
- Providing guidance on best eLearning principles and methodologies

Salary Information
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $80,486.09 to $120,729.13
Hourly Salary Range: $38.70 to $58.04
