    The Sr. Learning and Development Specialist plays a key role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of Mulligan Funding’s employees. Reporting directly to the Learning and Development Manager, this position undertakes the responsibility of designing, developing, and delivering training programs, content, and tools tailored to the identified needs of the organization. The L&D Specialist will focus on creating and executing a variety of comprehensive training programs, ensuring that the organization remains competitive and efficient.

    You will:

    • Conduct needs analysis to identify specific skill gaps and training needs within the organization.
    • Design and develop engaging, innovating, and scalable learning solutions.
    • Deliver learning programs effectively, ensuring a high level of engagement, retention, and knowledge transfer.
    • Participate in skills inventory development to maintain a clear picture of the organization’s training requirements.
    • Implement feedback mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and make necessary adjustments for future programs.
    • Continuously update and refine training materials and methodology to reflect current best practices, technologies, and methodologies.
    • Engage with external vendors or consultants when necessary to bring in specialized training or resources.
    • Support the onboarding process by ensuring new hires are introduced to the company culture, values, and essential job functions.
    • Promote a continuous learning culture by introducing and recommending new training methods, eLearning tools, and other educational materials.
    • Coordinate with subject matter experts and stakeholders across departments to gain insights into specific job roles’ training needs and requirements to tailor training initiatives accordingly.
    • Collaborate with HR team members and business leaders to provide tailored training solutions based on their needs.
    • Monitor industry trends and advancements in training and development to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of effective learning practices.
    • Assist the Human Resources Team with other operational items as necessary.

    You have:

    • A BSc or BA degree in Business, Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resource Development, Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
    • 5 or more years of experience in learning and development, with demonstrated proficiency in eLearning tools, instructional content creation, training program development, and delivery.
    • Experience with LMS administration
    • A genuine interest in promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Professional certifications are an advantage.
    • A proactive and collaborative approach to training and development.

    A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000 per year. In order to provide a competitive compensation package, Mulligan Funding takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to market compensation data, relevant experience, skills, education, and certifications.
