We are seeking a Learning & Development Manager (L&D Manager) to oversee and manage learning and development initiatives within our organization. The primary focus of this role is to enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of our team members by fostering individual growth and organizational performance. You’ll evaluate and orchestrate suitable training solutions to address organization-wide developmental needs. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Develop and implement a strategic learning plan aligned with the organizational goals.
- Evaluate the organization’s learning needs, identify skill gaps, and formulate strategies to bridge them.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts or external vendors to design, develop, and execute programs, meeting predefined objectives.
- Oversee the learning management system (LMS) to facilitate program delivery and tracking. Innovate ways to offer ongoing support beyond formal training programs.
- Stay updated on technologies to enhance the learning experience.
- Manage resources like job aids, knowledge bases, and communities of practice to facilitate continuous learning and performance improvement.
- Establish and employ metrics to measure efficacy and impact, validating knowledge transfer and return on investment.
- Develop and maintain evaluation methods for individual and organizational performance related to training.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to comprehend learning needs, align initiatives with business goals, and secure essential resources.
- Partner with the People and Culture (P&C) team and leaders to propose team member engagement programs.
- Foster a culture of perpetual learning and professional development. Advocate for learning opportunities, promote a growth mindset, and encourage knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members.
- Implement a comprehensive communication strategy for training programs.
- Lead and present training presentations across all teams.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5-7 years of learning and development design and implementation experience
- Proficiency in working with and administering a Learning Management System
- Possess a consultative approach adaptable to all levels within the organization
- Comfortable working with external partners and vendors
- Ability to discern the best resources on diverse topics
- Skilled in using e-learning authoring, design and animation tools
- Knowledgeable in data management and learning analytics
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Learning Management, Instructional Design, Human Resource Development or a related field
- Proficiency in Paycor Learning Management System
- Experience in eLearning design, implementation, and troubleshooting of web-based training modules
