    UW Credit Union is hiring a Learning & Development Coordinator! This individual will support the design, delivery, and facilitation of learning within the organization. They are an essential member of the L&D team as they help support the planning and execution of all learning opportunities at UW Credit Union..
    Using strong organization and project management skills, they will provide logistical support on the execution of programming, including event scheduling, communications, partner relationships with training facilitators, administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and reporting & metrics. Their focus is striving towards enhancements, ensuring the best user experience possible. As a technologically apt individual, they are critical in supporting the employee development programs across a variety of channels – classroom, virtual, eLearning, etc. This is an entry level position that will support knowledge development related to business operations, leadership development, digital literacy, and adult learning principles.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the creation, maintenance, and execution of project documentation, including timelines, communication plans, and measurement strategies.
    • Assist in developing presentations, reports, communications, internal updates, and intranet stories/posts.
    • Coordinate with SMEs to schedule professional development and training initiatives across the organization, including New Employee Orientation, Expanding Leadership Potential (ELP) workshops, Core Leadership workshops, UWCU Leadstrongs, and other training programs.
    • Manage administrative and logistics support for events and trainings, including IT support, room set-up, and prepping materials for facilitators.
    • Communicates potential obstacles or challenges to team members to ensure training delivery is seamless, and the overall delivery is of high quality.
    • Adapt trainings into a blended, virtual instructor-led format and refine training materials.
    • Serves as key point of contact for the LinkedIn Learning platform and support strategy and administration to increase usage across the organization.
    • Support the development and delivery of interactive training sessions, workshops, and other learning opportunities in virtual instructor-led, instructor-led, web-conferenced, and video-conferenced formats.
    • Serve as site administrator for the corporate LMS to assign online coursework, schedule training events, update training transcripts, and provide ad hoc reporting.
    • Partners with the Compliance team to deliver updates on compliance training progress and completion.
    • Administers the LMS to maintain content quality, version control, and archival information.
    • Monitors LMS enrollments, creates & assign LMS courses, configures curriculums, uploads course content, loads schedules, maintains LMS training calendar, & master course catalog, by adding, updating, & retiring courses.
    • Partners with necessary stakeholders to implement and maximize LMS effectiveness.
    • Track the collection and analysis of data to evaluate effectiveness of sessions/programs, communicate insights, and recommend actions to drive continuous improvement.
    • Participate intradepartmental and interdepartmental Learning & Development related projects.
    • Provide guidance and facilitate interactions with stakeholders and team members to identify project task work, deliverable expectations, and estimated time frames.
    • Build rapport with stakeholders to develop trust and alignment. Maintain strict confidentiality.

    Qualifications:

    • Associates degree, Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent combination of skills and experiences.
    • 2+ years of experience in coordinating events, learning activities, or related fields.
    • Project support on multiple projects/initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience with instructional design a plus.
    • Capable of a diverse and varied workload to support all learning functions within the organization.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience with developing visually appealing materials such as slides, documents, websites, etc.
    • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, SharePoint etc.
    • Experience working with data to glean insights is preferred.
