    What you’ll be working on:

    • Design, lead, and implement strategic learning and development programs. including; new employee development, job and technical skills, leadership development, compliance, and e-Learnings.
    • Project manage learning and development initiatives (includes performing any necessary administrative tasks, preparing materials, etc.) to ensure training needs and deadlines are met.
    • Lead a team of instructional designers
    • Manage related vendor partnerships and administrative support functions.
    • Develop and deliver training curriculum to employees and managers and outline appropriate delivery methods using a variety of platforms to meet team and company needs.
    • Continuously evaluate L&D programs and recommend changes to modify existing programs and suggest ongoing improvement by determining appropriate program metrics, targets, gaps, and goals.

    What is Expected of a Learning and Development Manager:

    • 3-5 years’ experience in role
    • BA /BS HR Development, Business, Adult Learning, Organizational Development or other applicable field of study
    • Proficient in eLearning software (i.e. Articulate 360, Storyline, Adobe Captivate)
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
    • Knowledge and experience with digital design, photo editing, video editing, audio editing
    • A desire to continually improve processes and research and implement best practices.
    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex data and naturally curious
    • Working knowledge of LMS systems
    • Demonstrated ability to draft company-wide communications, presentations, and learning material.
    • Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence leaders; comfortable interacting with all levels in the organization, including cross-functionally
    • Highly motivated, able to self-direct, and ability to set priorities with minimal supervision
    • Comfortable with ambiguity; navigates confidently; adapts to change
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to identify processes and organize resources to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent time management; using time effectively and efficiently while prioritizing appropriately
    • Knowledge of learning theories and principles, including needs assessment, organizational development, and/or established industry models of evaluation
    • Detail oriented with thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task, while demonstrating concern for all areas involved
    • Ability to navigate a dynamic fast paced environment

    • RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, shop specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 10.
