    Job Overview:

    The Learning & Development Consultant will facilitate or co-facilitate learning and development training sessions, create blended learning solutions, including e-learnings, video and editing, micro-learnings, simulations, facilitator and participant guides, how to guides, infographics, and job aids. The ideal candidate will possess a desire to continually learn, improve and be excited about empowering adult learners with new skills in new, inventive, and creative ways!

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate or co-facilitate learning and development training sessions primarily in support of LPL Admin Solutions
    • Develop high quality materials including eLearning, facilitation materials, participant guides, how to guides, job aids, animations, video, and voiceovers, in alignment with company brand and design standards.
    • Gather requirements from a variety of source materials and SMEs through interviews, research and analysis and use this information to design and produce documentation and training content
    • Define learning objectives with key stakeholders to ensure an effective approach to and alignment with the broader development strategy
    • Leverage Agile principles in development work and consulting with business partners
    • Assist with content review to ensure effectiveness, optimize multiple use opportunities, and alignment with program requirements.
    • Keep up to date on industry conversations about best practices and advances in Learning & Development, Adult Learning, Scrum/Agile and learning technology.
    • Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned.
    • Must be local to San Diego, CA or Fort Mill, SC to be considered

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • 2-5 years of experience as an admin for a financial advisor

    • Excels in execution, prioritizing and meeting swift deadlines at a fast pace, in a constantly evolving environment.
    • Strategic problem solver with the ability to execute.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
    • Ability to collaborate with other Agile team members to develop best-in-class learning content.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design techniques and practice.
    • Awareness of Agile/Scrum methodology for Learning & Design.


    Preferences:

    • Experience using standard authoring tools (such as Articulate, Camtasia)
    • Experience using web-based meeting tools (Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
    • Experience with Learning Management Systems


    Pay Range:

    $65,320-$97,980/year

    Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
