We are seeking a qualified Instructional Technologist to join our dynamic learning design team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming instructional content into engaging and interactive eLearning materials. As an Instructional Technologist, you will collaborate closely with instructional designers to use authoring software to create learning modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Transformation:
- Receive instructional content from designers and follow storyboards to convert the content into interactive eLearning materials.
- Utilize authoring software to enhance content with multimedia elements, simulations, assessments, and other interactive features.
- Create production scripts based on media outputs.
- Edit closed captioning for accuracy.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with instructional designers to understand their vision and requirements.
- Communicate effectively to ensure a seamless integration of design concepts into the authoring software.
- Efficient Workflow:
- Demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in an asynchronous workflow, managing tasks and timelines effectively.
- Prioritize and organize workload to meet project deadlines.
- Attention to Detail:
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of the eLearning content.
- Conduct thorough reviews to identify and address any errors or inconsistencies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with authoring software, especially Articulate Rise
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in an asynchronous work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with multimedia elements, including graphics, audio, and video.
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), especially Moodle.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
