    Dynamis is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) to provide law enforcement training and instructional design support services for a major U.S. federal government law enforcement agency. The ISD will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on curriculum design and development, executive education and leadership development, training assessment methodologies, instructor and student evaluations, traditional and alternative training delivery methods, and instructional training aids development.

    Responsibilities:

    • Facilitate the review and development of instructor-led training products.
    • Facilitate course review with SMEs and stakeholders for assigned training products and continually monitor products for appropriateness, accuracy, and completeness.
    • Recommend improvements to existing course content and delivery and manage configuration control of assigned courses to improve business processes and effectiveness of the agency’s training mission.
    • Draft training project plans and course design documents, develop status briefs for assigned courses, prepare agendas and document meeting minutes, and facilitate curriculum working groups for new and existing courseware reviews and updates.
    • Provide technical review of assigned client curriculum products for adherence to standard design, development, and evaluation principles.
    • Facilitate continued development, coordination, configuration management, and evaluation of client’s training curriculum program.
    • Propose training policies to strengthen, facilitate, and integrate executive training with on-the-job leadership training.
    • Ensure eLearning and Instructor-led instructional materials meet 508 compliance standards.

    Requirements:

    • U.S. citizenship
    • BA/BS Degree
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience developing federal law enforcement and law enforcement support training programs.
    • Require college credit in learning theory, psychology of learning, educational psychology, instructional design practices, educational evaluation, instructional product development and technology education in training and curriculum development expertise, and ability to ensure the design and development of new training is consistent with accepted ISD processes and standards.
    • Experience working with Federal Law Enforcement Training Accreditation standards in training development and training delivery
    • Kirkpatrick Bronze Level Certification is preferred
