Instructional Designer Remote Job

Our client, a large global life sciences company, is seeking a skilled Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer with expertise in Articulate Rise and working proficiency in either Spanish and/or Portuguese to convert existing Onboarding Training PDF’s into Articulate Rise eLearning modules in these respective languages. All content in these languages will be provided in the existing PDFs. In this role, you will not be tasked with creating content. It will be provided by client teams in the respective countries.

The modules will be for teams in Mexico, Brazil, and Columbia, so will require direct collaboration with these offshore teams in Spanish and Portuguese for successful project execution. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of instructional design expertise, language proficiency, and cross-cultural communication skills. Each country has unique content in terms of legislation so there will be a total of 18 separate modules that need to be created (6 for each country).

Project Deliverables:

• Six (6) 20-minute RISE courses in Spanish for Mexico office
• Six (6) 20-minute RISE courses in Portuguese for Brazil office
• Six (6) 20-minute RISE courses in Spanish for Columbia office

Key Qualifications

• Degree in Instructional Technologies, Education, or a related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles.
• 5+ years’ experience in eLearning design and development including creating very engaging modules with level 2 interactivity.
• Highly proficient in Articulate Rise (must provide license).
• Must offer “limited working proficiency” in Spanish and/or Portuguese to facilitate communications with teams in Mexico, Brazil, and Columbia, and ability to work with the training content.
• Strong project management and communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.

Start Date: ASAP with some flexibility (Jan 2024).
Duration: ~4 months with possible extension
Hours: 30-40 hours per week
Location: 100% Virtual

The pay range is $55 to $70 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
