Job Description
The Global Learning and Development team at U.S. Bank is hiring! The team is looking for an Instructional Designer to help support enterprise-wide learning materials and program content for Leadership, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Human Resources (HR). The topics covered are sophisticated and complex requiring diplomacy and tact. In this role, you’ll create a variety of content, including learning modules, one-page guides, PowerPoint decks and short videos. The team needs a creative professional with finesse to develop meaningful content compliant with brand guidelines and policies. The team is highly collaborative and focused on continuous learning and improvement; if you have a growth mindset and are eager to hone skills, this might be a great match!
Location: Role is open to candidates remote in the United States.
About you:
- Detailed editor and skilled content creator
- Intermediate abilities in Articulate suite (Storyline and Rise), Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint and Word), Camtasia, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Growth mindset and continuous learner
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Four or more years of relevant experience
- Thorough understanding of adult learning principles, practices, and learning sciences particularly in the areas of eLearning, curriculum development, multi-media development, and learning technology
- Ability to adhere to brand guidelines
- Technical skills, including Articulate Suite (Storyline and Rise), Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint and Word), Camtasia, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Thorough knowledge of instructional design and principles
- Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training curricula, materials, and programs in light of business objectives
- Expert level writing, editing and grammar knowledge
