Our programmatic advertising platform, the Amazon Demand Side Platform (DSP), is becoming increasingly popular with major advertisers and agencies worldwide. We believe we understand e-commerce advertising better than anybody else and want to turn it into a science of its own that all users can leverage for their programmatic advertising.
We are looking for DSP Instructional designer to join the Amazon Advertising Support & Operations and drive improvements to the DSP support through robust process documentation and training creation and optimization.
As an Instructional Designer, you will manage training strategy and create training materials for DSP to enable contact center support for advertisers and agencies.
The ideal candidate is an inventive, tech savvy, experienced and creative Instructional Designer who can develop trainer-led courses and e-learning to meet specific program objectives.
Key job responsibilities
• Help drive the evolution of Amazon Advertising Self-Service DSP via support improvement, ongoing client feedback loop, and close collaboration with cross functional Amazon teams.
• Identify learning objectives, assess learners, performance outcomes, and evaluative strategies to deliver instruction including consulting with program owners and subject matter experts to identify performance gaps and learning objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
At least 3 years’ experience in an Instructional Design role with a focus on training development
Proven experience designing and developing eLearning training under aggressive timelines
Strong project management skills with the ability to work independently
Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design best practices
Demonstrated use of analytical skills in a training organization
Demonstrated ability to create assessments based on learning and performance objectives
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or similar field
Project management experience
Experience with instructional design in a corporate setting
Experience with the Amazon Advertising

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
