This role will help develop the OneStream learning model and build a new learning experience for a diverse OneStream Community: Software Developers, Implementers, Administrators and Business Users. This role is highly collaborative, and this person is expected to work with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts to design and develop engaging, relevant blended learning content.

This person will use her/his content development, instructional design experience and technical background to help guide key stakeholders through the blended training design process, provide best practices and techniques for integrating different learning technologies.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Designs and develops complete user experience from the beginning of a learning plan to the end identifying every interaction of the user’s learning experience.
• Collaborates with Technical Education Consultants and trainers on the design and development of existing content and develops a strategy to convert it into an online or blended environment.
• Designs and develops technical content and courses for complex enterprise software.
• Creates custom complex interactions using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise.
• Explores innovative uses of technology to support a blended learning approach based on audience, business needs and requirements.
• Ensures all materials are consistent and aligned with the content strategy and established content standards.
• Demonstrates exceptional visual, oral, and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to deliver engaging presentations to key stakeholders
• Execute the development and implementation of learning programs and deliverables
• Remains a thought leader in instructional design and provides guidance on instructional design theories and instructional technology applications.
• Designs and creates learning to reflect the diversity of learners, including the understanding of cultural differences that may apply.
• Provides recommendations on enhancements to learning programs.
• Develops supporting materials for training content such as agendas, FAQs, resource guides, etc.
• Works with the Technical Education Consultants in creating scripts, assessments and talking points for eLearning and video content.
• Responsible for technical quality and works closely with technology teams to develop and advance learner experience.
• Partners and collaborates with the production team on the content production process.
• Develops training/resources for the Technical Education Consultants and trainers on new training methods and technologies.

Required Education and Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, instructional technologies
• Experience in designing and delivering training solutions
• Experience designing, developing, and delivering emerging learning solutions including game-based learning, video, micro-learning, simulations, and immersive scenarios requiring multiple branching elements strongly preferred
• Strong proficiency with industry standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, Storyline and Captivate)
• Strong project management and leadership skills to achieve design target timelines
• Excellent communication and written skills
• Experience in a growth organization where quick thinking and flexibility to change are essential

Preferred Education and Experience

• BSc/MSc in Education, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Communications, or relevant field
• Experience with complex, highly technical Enterprise software solutions
• Experience in developing self-paced eLearning curriculums, storyboards, online tutorials, assessments, etc.
• Knowledge of software training content preferably CPM software training
• Preferred Project Manager, or Learning Management System Manager experience
• Knowledge of SQL Server or similar database management technologies
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure or similar cloud-based technologies
