    Do you have a successful track record employing Instructional Design methodologies to design and develop self-faced eLearning programs? Have you been responsible for the design of corporate sales and/or software product training? Are you a master of Articulate and other eLearning tools utilized for training content development? Do you have strong project management skills and the ability to keep up with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment? Are you a team player with good communication skills?

    We are looking for an experienced, creative, and forward-thinking learning professional to design and develop training curriculum and content to support our Thomson Reuters Partner Training Program. Our primary learners include business partners in the Corporate Tax, Trade, Legal, and Risk segments. This visible role focuses on external-facing sales and product training.

    Responsibilities

    • Participates in curriculum design, instructional design, content writing and course development of self-faced/on-demand eLearning and certification exams
    • Researches and conducts content assessment of existing course materials to support the development of new and up-to-date training materials
    • Conducts learning needs analysis, curriculum mapping, design, writing, development, testing, implementation and evaluation of all training materials
    • Designs and develops cutting edge, graphically rich, engaging learning materials
    • Exercises sound judgement when determining appropriate learning solutions based on inputs, objectives and desired business and learning outcomes
    • Understands content structure and how curriculums, courses, modules, learning objectives and assessment questions are designed to transfer and validate knowledge
    • Works closely with subject matter experts, other instructional designers, project leads, and key stakeholders to assess training content needs and deliver high-quality training and certification programs

    Qualifications

    • BS or MA degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology or similar
    • 10+ years of Instructional Design experience
    • Experience with corporate sales and/or software product training or similar industry preferable
    • Advanced knowledge of multimedia authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, WellSaid Labs, and other digital learning authoring tools
    • Demonstrated knowledge of applied adult learning theory, instructional design, and learning management systems
    • Ability to design or create dynamic and engaging content that incorporates both design elements and effective learning principles for an optimum learning experience
    • Strong project management skills and able to successfully multi-task, set priorities, and meet timelines
    • Strong interpersonal skills including proven ability to collaborate with teams and individuals at all organizational levels
    • Visual design skills and the ability to storyboard and write sound training curriculum
