Instructional Designer Job

Our client is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Instructional Designer to enhance their eLearning course, “Business Continuity 101,” a mandatory annual training for employees, subsidiaries, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transforming this course into an engaging, highly interactive, and enjoyable learning experience.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and internal stakeholders to update and revamp the eLearning course on Business Continuity 101.
• Design and develop a 20-30 minute eLearning course, ensuring 60% of the content is refreshed, while maintaining the current 40%.
• Craft compelling content on topics such as the fundamentals of business continuity, the development of BC plans, roles and responsibilities, timelines, and the overarching importance of business continuity for effective collaboration among business units.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in Instructional Design and eLearning Development.
• Proficiency in Gamification, particularly within Articulate 360 – Storyline and Rise. Must possess a license and provide samples of previous Gamification work.
• Experience in video editing to enhance the overall multimedia learning experience.
• Proven Project Management skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts in an accessible and engaging manner.
• Business continuity experience is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Healthcare terminology is a plus, though not mandatory.

Duration: 2-3 months; Deliverable due on 3/31

Hours: 40 hours per week; Flexible schedule, with availability for meetings between 8-4 pm EST

The pay range for this project is $60.00 to $80.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
