    As an Instructional Designer with our Talent and Learning team you will have the opportunity to design informal and formal learning solutions in a blended learning environment that reflect “big picture” people development programs. From leadership to career development planning (and everything in between) your expertise will help to analyze, select and deliver the most appropriate strategy, methodologies and design to maximize outcomes as we roll out solutions.
    This is a remote position with the preferred candidate able to work Eastern Time Zone hours.

    Our selected candidate will have:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in training-related field preferred
    • 3+ years’ experience in training, instructional design or a related field
    • Expertise with MS Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
    • Knowledge of instructional design theory and methods such as ADDIE, SAM, Agile etc.
    • Knowledge of various instructional methods, both formal and informal, such as lecture, reflection, discussion, and practical activities
    • Knowledge of various delivery options/media, such as online learning, video, classroom training, performance support, virtual ILT, job aids, social media,
    • Knowledge of presentation techniques; experience with train the trainer and facilitation
    • Experience in developing engaging interactive learning solutions
    • Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools such as Captivate or Storyline; multimedia tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and Audition a plus but not required
    • Knowledge of new and emerging learning technologies and support systems
    • Interest in the workplace learning field and instructional innovations
    • Understand cultural differences in learning solutions and their implications
    • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively
    • Ability to interact effectively and build coalitions with customers
    • Communication and project management skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills

While the budgeted range for the position is posted, Sodexo salary offers are based on a candidate’s specific criteria, like experience, skills, education and training.

    Position Summary:

    85%
    Design, create, and develop informal and formal learning solutions to meet organizational needs; analyzing and selecting appropriate strategies, methodologies, and technologies to maximize the learning experience and business impact. This includes the development of virtual learning solutions such as eLearning (storyboards, graphics, usability testing, etc.), performance support tools, learning solutions for mobile devices, etc. using a variety of learning technologies.This position is responsible to work independently on small to medium scale programs/projects and collaborate/support the Sr ID on complex large scale programs. This includes development using a variety of authoring tools and applications to best suit the needs of the program/project.
    10%
    Create and maintain project plans to ensure successful project implementation. This includes but is not limited to communications to leadership, sourcing of work; managing 3rd party vendors, budgets, planning and organizing.
    5%
    Be knowledgeable of current learning trends and technology that would apply to current and future programs, etc.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Basic Education Requirement – Associate’s Degree
    Basic Management Experience – 2 Years
    Basic Functional Experience – 2 years
