- Responsible for working with subject matter experts to develop supporting material (script, audio, video, simulations, role plays, games, etc.) for on-site and online training modules ensuring the integrity of course material through the design of clear writing of scripts, narratives, and storyboards.
- Maintained and update training documentation on course folders and the department training web pages.
- Use advanced software (Camtasia, Audacity, Acrobat, Photoshop, Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) to create and develop materials, job aids, and handouts to reinforce learning that is clear, concise, and accurate.
- Responsible for producing instructional and training materials including, but not limited to, audios videos, presentations, user manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP,) and handouts, as well as providing in-class and synchronous remote/online workshops, lectures, simulations, role plays, games, etc. to fulfill the department’s CLC needs as part of the Thriving Workplace Initiative (TWI) strategic plan.
- Primary Facilitator and Trainer for the CLC responsible for communicating and tracking training plans and development needs of department staff with an emphasis on engaging marketing to staff by providing necessary information about sessions through email, invitations, and pamphlets.
- Responsible for developing and creating engaging ways to train employees using role-playing and practical communication exercises utilizing blended learning approaches, including on-site and eLearning.
- Research and recommend new training methods and maintain an updated curriculum database and training records.
- Collaborate with Lead Coordinator to facilitate training sessions and workshops for external and internal users and staff, ensuring developmental knowledge metrics are delivered consistently. May indirectly supervise graduate student deliverables.

- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Media or related field.
- Six (6) years of progressively responsible related experience with instructional design techniques and methodologies for the development of course content.
- Knowledge of principles of adult learning and instructional design techniques and methods.
- Extremely well versed in application of design methodologies including but not limited to: ADDIE model, SAM, backward design, e-learning blueprint, and interactive learning experiences.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and set priorities
- Knowledge of methods and techniques used in the collecting, compiling, and organizing of data and information retrieved from surveys and google data analytics
- Competency of Camtasia, Audacity, Photoshop, Snag-It, Microsoft Office Suite such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Competency with functionality of virtual software (i.e., Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
- Ability to effectively communicate in oral and written form to collaborate and coordinate work with team members, and department internal and external customers.
- Ability to function in a team-oriented environment, taking on new tasks with enthusiasm and energy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, work independently, and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction/project management terminology and software a plus.
- Lead/supervisory experience desired.
The salary range is $65,200 – $81,500.
