    Role description

    In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality instructional materials that effectively communicate complex technical concepts to learners. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to analyze learning needs, design instructional solutions, and create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

    Role responsibilities

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze learning needs and define learning objectives for technical training programs
    • Design and develop instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and other learning assets
    • Utilize instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles to create effective and engaging learning experiences
    • Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive activities, and assessments to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retention
    • Conduct thorough research to gather technical content and translate it into clear and concise instructional materials
    • Apply instructional strategies and appropriate delivery methods to accommodate various learning styles and preferences
    • Ensure the alignment of learning objectives with measurement criteria to assess learner performance and program effectiveness
    • Collaborate with multimedia developers, graphic designers, and other team members to create visually appealing and interactive learning materials
    • Review and revise instructional materials based on feedback, evaluation data, and industry best practices
    • Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the field of instructional design

    Required education and certification.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.

    Required skills and experience

    • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Technical Instructional Designer, preferably in a technical or IT-related environment.
    • Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
    • Proficiency in instructional design software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond or similar applications.
    • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools.
    • Solid knowledge of technical subjects and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities, with the capability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality instructional materials.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
    • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry trends and advancements.
    • Possess a strong portfolio with samples of e-Learning development and course design, documentation, and visuals
