This is a remote Independent Contractor (1099) position expected to work between 20-30 hours per week.
Quick Med Claims is seeking a dynamic and creative Instructional Designer. The duties and responsibilities of this remote contract position include designing interactive and task-based team member proprietary system training programs using multiple media and blended approaches (eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, job aids, animated videos.)
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, communications, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and delivering training programs for adult learners.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with learning management systems and platforms.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Experience with Camtasia/Camtasia Assets and Camtasia Video Review.
Licenses, Certifications & Clearances
- Certificate in design curriculum preferred.
- Certificate in project management preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Understanding of learning principles and application in a technical environment.
- Ability to measure and track the effectiveness and impact of learning solutions.
- Must have strong writing and communication skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop learning objectives that align to strategic priorities.
- Build collaborative and consultative relationships with subject matter experts, clients and peers.
- Participate in defining and documenting learning needs assessment, data analysis, and recommended learning strategies.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects/assignments simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to identify downstream impact of training changes.
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in a changing and fast-paced environment.
- Use raw content provided by subject matter experts to write scripts, storyboards, and design documents.
- Create assessments that align to course objectives.
- Plans, designs, and implements innovative end-to-end entry, intermediate, and advanced level training courses or learning projects for an engaging learning experience for internal and external resources.
- Identifies and plans appropriate instructional content design strategies and objectives, curriculum, learning activities, and assessment materials based on analysis of tasks, learners, and subject matter to engage and educate end users on billing system products, product features, or other various topics, ensuring the content matches the objectives.
- Adhere to all QMC HIPAA privacy policies and procedures. This includes always maintaining the confidentiality and security of sensitive patient information.
