    Total Wine is seeking a Sr. Associate of Instructional Design & Technology to join our growing Talent Development team. The team leads Total Wine & More’s enterprise-wide leadership development programs, and all other development programs, processes, and tools related to talent management. Our purpose is to foster an exciting culture of growth and empowerment among leaders and Team members while creating effective tools and experiences to support employee and leader skill development. You will be involved in designing learning experiences and content that directly impact how well we grow from within.
    You will report to the Director of Leadership and Talent Development.
    You will:
    • Assist in the creation of learning experiences for our leadership development programs.
    • Apply adult learning strategies into the development of learning experiences.
    • Incorporate hybrid learning experiences including independent coursework, virtual sessions, simulations, role-plays, coaching, games, etc.
    • Support multi-media, print, presentation, and eLearning content design using programs such as MS Office suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, Camtasia, Powtoons, or similar.
    • Coordinate our LinkedIn learning program:
    • Facilitate cross collaboration to design and implement our annual LinkedIn learning strategy.
    • Design supporting resources and oversee implementation of said strategy.
    • Monitor, evaluate, and continuously assess program engagement while seeking industry best practices for improvement.
    • Refresh and support companywide onboarding experience.
    • Collaborate to innovate Total Wine’s Manager in Training Human Resources learning experience.
    • Collaborate to enhance onboarding and orientation experiences and take the lead in designing refresh efforts for these enhancements.
    • Support the Learning Management System for the HR Department.
    • Aide in the planning process for creating training assignments for current and new training modules.
    • Upload content, create and maintain curriculums, assign trainings, and process related help center tickets.
    • Provide guidance on system enhancements and strategy relating to the learning management system.
    • Develop and distribute learning program reporting to key stakeholders.
    You will come with:
    • Three years + experience in Instructional Design, talent management, HR Generalist, or similar is preferred.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Learning Sciences, Curriculum and Instruction, Training and Development, Education or related field preferred.
    • Creative and Multi-Media Design Skills: a strong desire and ability to be creative and the capacity to deliver information in a more engaging and comprehensive way.
    • Attention to Detail: An ability to spot intricacies.
    • Passion for Employee Development: A deep personal commitment to nurturing employees’ skills and growth.
    • Drive for Improvement: A strong desire to enhance internal growth metrics, reduce turnover, and streamline the use of development tools by leaders and their teams.
    • Adult Learning Skills: a strong understanding of adult learning approaches and an understanding of how to foster logical hybrid learning experiences that satisfy adult learning needs.
    • Partnership Building: A proactive approach to establishing alliances to understand needs and gather ongoing feedback.
    • Impact Assessment: Eagerness to assess outcomes, respond to opportunities, and capitalize on achievements.
