The Instructional Designer and Storyline Developer works closely with business partners, internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to develop high-quality eLearning experiences to support business goals. This individual is primarily focused on the creation of multi-media digital learning content and web-based assets such as Storyline interactions, graphics (vector and raster), animations, and video for the Interventional Cardiology business and will report to the Digital Medical Education Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and cross-functional teams to:
- Support the development of innovative digital learning content
- Identify business needs/gaps where a digital learning solution would be beneficial
- Ensure training meets the identified learning outcomes and/or goals
- Prioritize and manage multiple, complex eLearning projects with various teams
- Creatively develop all learning solutions to be visually engaging while maintaining BSC brand standards
- Maintain best practices in areas of design and adult learning principles
- Ensure a consistent approach to usability and learner experience design
- Generate and champion new ideas and approaches
- Communicate project status updates and timelines to stakeholders, which includes crafting concise written documents and making oral presentations as needed
What we’re looking for in you:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Experience using Storyline 360
- Creative and graphic design skills with experience using Adobe Creative Cloud apps (i.e., Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Familiarity with video production and post-editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and/or Camtasia
- Proven organizational and project management skills, as well as cross-functional collaboration experience
- Proven ability to:
- Storyboard/create narrative scenarios
- Assist with the design of complex scenario driven courses
- Edit, rework, or update content with close attention to detail
- Write effective instructional text, audio/video scripts
- Manage priorities and report progress
- Candidates will be asked to provide an online portfolio supporting their experience for this position
