      • Assists in the management of learning content in the Learning Management System (LMS) while ensuring content consistency, quality and ongoing maintenance. Works closely as part of the eLearning team in the assignment, tracking and reporting of education to ensure compliance with all regulations. Coordinates and works in partnership with others in the effective preparation, organization and delivery of courseware to support the SHS workforce. Provides detailed operational and logistical support to the eLearning environment, software systems, databases and other online learning tools.
    • DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
      • Professional Development is a centralized education department serving a multi-site health system. The team specializes in organizational and staff development at all levels with a focus on workforce readiness, advancing clinical excellence, supporting professional development, and building great teams and leaders.
    • EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
      • One (1) of the following required:
        • Associate’s Degree in a related field plus one (1) year experience providing customer service and/or technical support for learning programs.
        • High school diploma or equivalent plus three (3) years experience in customer service and/or technical support for learning programs.
      • Experience in MS Office, Learning Management Systems, internet/web-based systems, databases, reporting/analytics and other eLearning development tools required.
      • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
    • KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
      • Communication – Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
      • Time Management – Ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to complete within required time frames and to follow-up on pending issues. Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in dynamic fast-paced environments and under pressure.
      • Adaptability/Flexibility – Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to urgent situations and to adjust actions to offer the best possible solutions to our internal and external customers.
      • Computer Literacy – Knowledge and basic trouble shooting experience of electronic equipment, computer hardware and software. Ability to learn new applications, enter data, and manipulate and process information.
      • Project Management – Ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple fast-moving projects with changing priorities, drivers and dependencies. Ability to work effectively independently or as part of an integrated team to achieve a goal. Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
