    POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

    • Post-secondary degree or certification in education, online instructional design, electronic media or related degree or equivalent experience required, Master’s Degree in education, eLearning instructional design, electronic media or related subject preferred
    • Minimum of 1 year of eLearning instructional design experience required; 5 years of experience with eLearning instructional design and learning management systems preferred
    • Previous experience conducting needs analysis, and designing and implementing eLearning programs required
    • Experience with Articulate Storyline authoring tool preferred
    • Experience with the Percipio Learning Management System and with a variety of eLearning authoring tools preferred
    • Familiarity with financial service industry preferred
    • Proficient in technical writing and use of image editing, audio, and video software tools required
    • Proficient with MS Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Understanding of ADDIE model
    • Understanding of adult learning principles and practices
    • Knowledge of linear and non-linear variations in online learning instructional designs to meet simple and more sophisticated learning objectives

    MAJOR DUTIES:

    • Collaborate with Organization Development management on the development of the eLearning strategy.
    • Responsible for execution of the eLearning strategy including design, development and publishing of curriculum.
    • Consult with business unit partners/leaders to evaluate learning needs in relation to the design and implementation of eLearning programs.
    • Utilize multimedia technology, including webinar and video conferencing, as well as eLearning authoring tools, e.g., Articulate Storyline and Rise, to create new programs and/or convert existing programs to a better format.
    • Collaborate and provide guidance to Organization Development management, and key stakeholders, as appropriate, to identify content for online development.t
    • Manage the research, conceptualization and development of templates, standards and procedures for Federated Hermes’ online learning.
    • Manage Organization Development’s oversight of the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) (Percipio and PeopleSoft currently) and organize LMS reporting and maintenance activities (e.g., system updates).
    • Provide guidance to business unit subject matter experts in the development of on-the-job training aids and programs at the division and/or department level.
    • Maintain and expand technical knowledge and skills to keep pace with Federated Hermes vendors’ standards and capabilities to keep our eLearning programs state of the art.
    • Troubleshoot Organization Development and/or employee issues related to accessing, launching, registering, and completion activity in online programs.

    • Federated Hermes Tower – Pittsburgh, PA / Hybrid (office/remote)
