eLearning Creator Objectives:

The E-Learning Content Creator will build interactive modules that facilitate engaging and effective learning experiences for online learners. The successful candidate will collaborate with the training course developers and subject matter experts to ensure that the final product will provide learners with an effective, engaging learning experience.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and creative digital learning specialist who will contribute to our growing need for customer focused educational content in a variety of digital formats delivered across multiple media platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain exceptional eLearning and training solutions to meet the learning needs of customers and all users of Harmonic products and solutions.
• Collaborate and consult with internal stakeholders to effectively create eLearning materials that teach key knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with defined learning objectives.
• Work independently and as part of the global Technical Content Services team to define, standardize, and enforce eLearning standards and best practices across the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Native or fluent English language speaker and excellent organizational, analytical, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to collaborate in an international team.
• 3+ years of meaningful experience related to eLearning interactive course creation.
• Proven ability to transform highly technical, complex concepts into clear, concise, and easy to understand training materials.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite MS PowerPoint, and other learning development tools with strong visual design skills.
• Ability to handle multiple creation projects simultaneously and deliver quality results in a time-sensitive environment.
• Knowledge of instructional design, adult learning theory, and best practices for eLearning is preferred.
• Experience creating content for high-tech, networking, IP, video technology, or computer sciences is preferred.
