     As a Technical Training & e-Learning Developer in our digital mining business, you will assist the Head of e-Learning and Regional Training Managers and coordinate all aspects of multiple training projects.  You also get the opportunity to work with our global pool of resources assigned to projects and embrace a culturally diverse atmosphere while coordinating these global process control, optimization, and standardization of training projects for the mining industry.

    Your responsibilities

    • Create and update technical training on FLSmidth’s product range per the required standards.
    • Develop modularized learning material and associated resource material to meet customer requirements for each of the equipment types identified. Material is to include presentation material, facilitator guides, assessments, participant reference handbooks and converted to SCORM files.
    • Plan and coordinate the delivery of training events.
    • Work effectively with departments and content specialists to source relevant documentation and information necessary.
    • Choose appropriate delivery methods to be incorporated in training content as case studies, visual aids, or other such activities to best suit participant needs and learning ability and to reinforce learning.
    • Knowledge of adult learning principles, assessment, needs analysis, and job task analysis needed to identify customers’ training gaps and development needs.
    • Complete specific individual projects as assigned by the department head.
    • Minimal travel at the direction of leadership.

     

    What you bring

    • Passion for building interactive eLearning using rapid eLearning authoring tools; experience with Articulate Storyline 360 or Adobe Captivate preferred.
    • You are always looking for ways to add value, do better work, and improve efficiencies – you believe there’s no job too big or too small.
    • Agile & collaborative – Adapts to change, demonstrating flexibility ​and ability to deliver on the targets in due time, and you thrive in a multicultural environment with many stakeholders where you can use your communication skills well.
    • Advanced organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
    • Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • A logical thinker who can go from the big picture to planning out all the details – making impactful projects come to life.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Training, Marketing, Graphic Design or similar
    • Basic experience editing photos, vectors, and videos as needed in a high-paced environment.
    • Since you will interact in an international environment, fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus (in addition to English)
