Allow users to access your course temporarily with Temporary access enrolment plugin

Moodle LMS is the most popular open source learning management system in the world. It offers a lot of exciting features with a lot of customization possibilities. Many times Moodle teachers need some specific users to access their course on temporary basis without being actually enrolled in them. In this post, we will have a look at “Temporary access” enrolment plugin.

The Temporary access enrolment plugin includes features from both Self Enrolment and Guest access. With the temporary access enrolment plugin, the users will be able to:

– users are able to access a course by themselves,
– a password can be set to limit access to the enrolment method,
– a specific role will be assigned to users accessing the course via the enrolment method,
– the assigned role is temporary, and users will be allowed to access the course without being enrolled.
– some capabilities can be set as required to use the enrolment method
