By default every student enrolled into a course can leave a rating. It can be configured that only students who completed the course can do it. There is also an option to allow to enable or disable course ratings for individual courses.

The funding round was also backed by Coursera, one of the largest online learning platforms in the world, with operations in India. Other investors, including Venture Catalysts and 9Unicorns, and Pankaj Bansal, through his fund Caret Capital, have also participated in this round.

According to the company, the fresh capital will help Unstop create a future where brands can match their skills requirements while engaging and recruiting talent across engineering, MBA, arts, science, commerce, and more domains.

Ankit Aggarwal founded Unstop as a playground for talented individuals to learn, upskill, showcase their skills, gain CV points, and get hired to unlock their true potential throughout their academic journey. Grasp, a UK-based online learning platform aiming to increase the rate at which humans learn, has raised $4 million in a seed round led by Balderton Capital. With this new fundraising, the startup intends to develop its platform further and expand the team with key product, data science, and engineering hires.

Founded by early Revolut employees Ed Matthews and Jacob Sidorov, Grasp’s comprehensive online learning educational platform helps people accelerate their learning, deepen their knowledge, and expand their skill sets. The platform will start with modern vocational skills like programming. The company’s mission is to be the centre of learning, able to take anyone from novice to master in a field ASAP. It currently has a waiting list to sign up for a beta test of the platform.

Moodle LMS as the name suggests is a modular learning management system. With more than 370 million users across the world it is one of the most flexible and customizable LMS system. In this post we will see ‘How you can use the Sharing Cart Plugin’ to copy course activities in different courses.

The Sharing Cart plugin is a block type plugin which can be used to duplicate specific course items in multiple courses. You can add items into sharing cart block and then use them in any other courses. It copies the activities without user data.

You can also import the course activities from another course by using the course import function but you need to perform similar action each time. With Sharing Cart plugin, you can add the items into your personal library and then use them easily in any other course. All you need is to add the sharing cart block to your course page.

How Sharing Cart plugin works:

  • Turning On and Off: With editing on, add the Sharing Cart block to your course page in both source as well as destination course pages.
  • Copying to the Sharing Cart: You will notice a small “Copy to Sharing Cart” icon which appears after each resource or activity in the center column of a Moodle course. Click on that icon to send a copy of that resource/activity into the Sharing Cart. User data will be removed, only the activity itself will be cloned.
  • Copying from the Sharing Cart: Click the “Copy to course” icon in Sharing Cart, then you will see many dotted boxes appear in the center column. Choose the location you wish to place your item, and it will be copied there directly.
