Amazon Autos Customer and Seller Experience Team (AACSX) is looking for a Program Manager to build scalable training and content programs to support Customer Service Agents, Dealer Operations, and Account Management. This role requires analyzing use cases, assessing learning requirements, creating project plans, developing the programs including content, implementation, and measurement across multiple modalities and formats. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in content or learning development, have project management experience, outstanding communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders. They will have a proven track record of ownership and successfully delivering results in a very fast-paced and dynamic business environment. Cross-functional partnership will be key to success.
Key job responsibilities
- Work with project teams to analyze needs, prioritize content roadmaps, then design and develop the programs and associated curriculum and training materials to meet those needs.
- Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional business partners at all levels, including subject matter experts (SMEs) to uncover and support learning priorities.
- Partner with other PMs to leverage existing content and programs to continuously improve connections across training programs.
- Identify the tools and learning technology choices that will provide ways to cost effectively scale your programs and improve learning effectiveness and speed to mastery.
- Measure, evaluate and report on the effectiveness and business impact of your learning programs and content.
- Proactively drive enhancements and continuous development of the training program; explore new learning solutions that support deepening product and industry knowledge.
A day in the life
The Learning Program Manager (PM) drives the operations of L&D programs and supports Sr Program Manager in the coordination of all Learning-related activities, working directly with a wide swath of Business Partners. The Learning PM has expertise in content or learning development and understands how Amazon Autos works behind the scenes. They excel in communications effectiveness, obsess about the smallest detail, and have deep expertise in customer service and stakeholder management. The Learning PM will manage their contribution to a rapidly evolving launch calendar in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
About the team
Amazon Autos is building a new customer experience which enables shopper to complete their entire vehicle discovery and purchase journey in Amazon’s online store, providing better convenience and selection than the traditional car shopping process.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Arlington, VA, USA | New York City, NY, USA | Seattle, WA, USA
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience with eLearning development software, publishing, and learning assessments development
- Experience building content for training programs for geographically dispersed audiences
- Experience in delivering a blended learning environment including: eLearning, virtual training and distance learning methods, classroom/instructor-led training, and on-the-job training/mentoring
- Experience working with a Learning Management Systems (LMS) and reporting/measuring training results and learning impact
- Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design best practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
