- Consulting and collaborating directly with business units, peers, stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand learning needs, outline learning objectives, and work to design learning, training, and development opportunities for all levels of learners.
- Working closely with facilitators and content developers to overcome learning obstacles, problem solve, and ensure learning objectives are being met. Using creative IT solutions wherever possible.
- Leveraging assessment results and analytics to drive digital learning adoption, effective on the job learning transfer and report out on ROI.
- Working in the organizations LMS to assist in initial structuring and clean-up efforts to drive the most efficient and effective use of the technology to support business and learning needs.
- Efficiently identifying business needs outside of the L&D scope and communicating next steps with the organization (i.e. training needs vs. continuous improvement efforts, etc.).
The Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design technology, computer related field, data science, communication, and/or education.
- 5+ years of instructional design experience with 2+ being with remote, adult-learners
- 2+ years of experience in learning analysis, creating learning strategy documents, curriculum plans, learning design documents, development scripts and storyboards, etc.
The Ideal Qualifications
- Master’s Degree
- Project Management Experience and/or certification(s)
- Information Technology (IT) experience
- Experience scoping and estimating learning project tasks with regard to timeline and cost
- Previous Canvas LMS experience
- Industry certifications, i.e. Instructional Design, content development, design thinking etc.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of successful design and implementation of synchronous and asynchronous adult-learning and training programs
- Ability to use data analytics for iteration of learning content in an agile environment to drive individual and organizational success
- Familiarity with LMS platforms
