    Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Instructional Design Lead to join their team for a remote, contract opportunity!

    As an Instructional Design Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality learning solutions. Working closely with a Project Sponsor, you will be responsible for leading projects, either as an individual contributor or with a team of other instructional designers. The role involves guiding projects through the entire instructional design process, encompassing all phases of the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate).

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and contribute to the instructional design process for various projects.
    • Collaborate with Project Sponsors and stakeholders to understand project goals and requirements.
    • Manage both individual and team-based instructional design projects.
    • Oversee and mentor Instructional Designer associates and/or contractors.
    • Ensure alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
    • Develop and implement innovative and effective learning solutions.
    • Utilize the ADDIE model to analyze needs, design solutions, develop materials, implement strategies, and evaluate outcomes.
    • Maintain a high standard of instructional design practices and stay abreast of industry trends.

    Qualifications:

    • Experience level: Experienced
    • Ability to lead instructional design project team associates as they complete all phases in the ADDIE process, including change management.
    • Skilled in all phases of the ADDIE model.
    • Ability to develop in various modalities: e.g., ILT/VILT, eLearning, self-paced, & asynchronous digital classroom.
    • Development technical skills, including tools such as Articulate 360 – Storyline and Rise, and Camtasia.
    • Strong Microsoft Office 365 Suite (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.).
    • In depth knowledge of instructional design skills and adult learning theories.
    • Ability to prioritize work and complete in a timely manner.
    • Strong written and verbal communication.
    • Strong detail orientation, organizational, time management, and multi-tasking.
    • Learning agility, as required for work assignments.
    • Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of remote teams.
    • Ability to lead projects of low to moderate complexity, including change management.
    • Ability to effectively plan and oversee the work of others.
    • Demonstrates initiative by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
